Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 24 June 2026

1. Overview

This policy applies to all paid subscriptions on the TradeKit platform. We aim to be fair and transparent. If you are not satisfied with TradeKit, please contact us at help@tradekit.uk so we can resolve any issues before you cancel.

2. Free trial

All new accounts receive a 14-day free trial of TradeKit Pro. No credit card is required to start the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be billed. No refund is applicable to trial cancellations.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time directly from your account settings — no phone calls, no forms, no hassle. Once cancelled, your subscription will not renew and you will not be charged again.

You will retain full access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period (monthly or annual). We do not charge any cancellation fees.

4. Refunds — monthly billing

We do not offer refunds for partial months on a monthly billing plan. When you cancel a monthly subscription, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. This is equivalent to the benefit of the payment.

5. Refunds — annual billing

If you purchase an annual plan and have not meaningfully used the service, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the date of purchase by emailing help@tradekit.uk. After 14 days from purchase, no refund is available on annual plans.

“Meaningfully used” means creating invoices, estimates, or other records within the platform. Logging in alone does not constitute meaningful use.

6. Other circumstances where refunds apply

  • Duplicate charges: If you are charged more than once in error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full as soon as the error is confirmed.
  • Significant service failure: If TradeKit experiences significant unplanned downtime of more than 24 consecutive hours due to our systems, we will issue a pro-rata credit to your account.

7. UK consumer law

This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer (using TradeKit for personal rather than business purposes), you may have additional statutory rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase. Where you have requested and begun using the service within that period, your statutory right to a full refund may be reduced on a pro-rata basis to reflect the service already provided.

TradeKit is primarily designed for business use by tradespeople. If you are using it as a consumer, please contact us and we will assess your request fairly and in accordance with your statutory rights.

8. How to request a refund

To request a refund, please email help@tradekit.uk with your account email address, the nature of your request, and the date of purchase. We will respond within 3 working days.

Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.

10. Contact

For questions or to discuss your subscription, please contact us at help@tradekit.uk. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 1 working day.
